Two control zones. I can't remember exactly how this works. Was it first one then the other or was it I go for mine you go for yours?
Runeshapers to contest left, Mulg and Earthborn hold center and get ready to rock either way.
Some of my least favorite things: Bloodtrackers with Nuala and Wolds to cast offensive magic on Mohsar's behalf. Mirage goes on the Bloodtrackers. It's funny. By going first and with the theme force deployment bonus, I think I'm doing better off than the Circle.
Runeshaper Rock Hammers! Zoooom! I start to clip the Bloodtrackers. Rock Hammer is a NICE AOE. Base POW 14 means blast damage is 7. 7 is enough to deal with any light infantry facing you across the table.
Mohsar pillars of salt really get in the way.
I have a feeling Mulg zipped up there before the pillar landed behind him. He totally wrecked at least one of the Wolds before getting beaten in submission in return.
Some big stuff happening here. I'm trying to force the Circle out of the control zone on the right, while Chuck is trying to push things. However, Doomshaper is exposed, and Chuck doesn't realize that my beasts are all full on Fury.
He thinks he's lost because I've all but driven his forces out of the control zones, but we talk the turn through and I move Doomshaper up too close. Zap says the stones, and the Wold is in my face.
I'll have to play smarter next time, but I was hoping I could spell assassinate the Wold in order to fury starve Mohsar.
