My list attempted use both Burrowers and Scouts as interference units until I could get the Earthborn in to punch someone in the face.
His list included some familiar faces, such as the Manhunters, the Uhlans and the Winterguard.
Scouts try to hold off the Doom Reavers while my Champions again try to form that line against the Uhlans. Only this time I'm able to get everything into a good position before the lines crash. I can't remember if that's because I went first or because Jarl Skudd makes everyone faster.
The Scouts don't work out and get mauled by Doom Reavers and Winterguard rockets and CRAs.
With the left flank flag gone, the Uhlans reform towards the center.

Which is when the Burrowers appear, ready to rock Khadoran world.
Burrowers charge to gum up the ranks, while the Champions use Weald Secrets to line up perfectly behind the Burrowers, ready to counter assault. Jarl Skudd moves up and puts down some smoke for his feat (the green beads mark their centers). Now the Winterguard can't shoot through the smoke, but they can risk entering the smoke in order to take a -2 penalty to their attack rolls.
The Pyre troll lights some Doom Reavers on fire, but they manage their tough checks and are knocked down (not to mention on fire).
So this is magical. Pygmy Burrowers + Smoke + Tough = wall of suck for Khador to fight their way through.
Uhlans succeed at killing some Burrowers, but expend a large number of attacks from elite troops in order to kill a few members of a low skilled squad.
Doom Reavers and Winterguard finish off the last of the Scouts and proceed to eliminate the Pyre Troll.
Champions and Skaldi try to finish the job that the Pygmy Burrowers started.
Eng game, jarl Skudd and the Earthborn take out as many infantry as they think they can take on. However, Vlad has yet to feat. When he does, he confers the bonuses onto the Winterguard who receive Bear's Strength from Kovnik Josef. They then proceed to combine melee attacks and hammer the Devil of the Thornwood into submission. So much for tactical speed!
